Foster

Foster is an exclusive modular sofa bed with wide, curved armrests, a low single-seat cushion, and movable back cushions. It is a high-end upholstered piece, designed exclusively for Milano Bedding by renowned French designer Christophe Pillet. The collection includes a selection of individual elements that can be freely combined: linear 2- or 3-seater modules and a chaise longue unit, all available in right or left-facing versions and suitable for creating large L-shaped sofa compositions.

A furnishing piece distinguished by its sophisticated, modern aesthetic, Foster does not betray its nature as a living-room sofa while serving a dual function - sofa by day, bed by night. Although sculptural in appearance, the shapes are soft and welcoming. This formal design choice shapes its generous volumes to ensure an unparalleled resting experience. Design and practicality go hand in hand with the extreme freedom of customisation. The upholstery is offered in a range of fabrics, leathers, and faux leathers in a wealth of colours. The sofa cover is fully removable, a feature that makes maintenance easier and helps preserve the sofa’s appearance over time.

Like all Milano Bedding upholstered pieces, Foster is equipped with the patented Lampolet bed mechanism, which guarantees strength, durability, and long-term reliability. The transformation is carried out by removing the single seat cushion and then pulling out the bed mechanism, in a safe, simple, and quick way. The structure integrates a complete bed with a slatted base and a comfortable 2-metre-long mattress made of high-resilience polyurethane foam. Depending on the selected configuration, the bed mattress can be selected in a small double, French double, or standard double bed size.

Mattress
All models with a bed include a Standard mattress, 10 cm high and 200 cm deep, made of CMHR polyurethane foam with a density of 35 kg/m³.
