Rufus

Rufus is a modern modular sofa bed for the centre of the room with a low single-cushion seat, designed exclusively for Milano Bedding by the renowned French designer Christophe Pillet. The collection includes a selection of elements to be freely combined: armchairs and two/three-seater fixed or convertible modules, as well as a comfortable chaise longue to create an inviting relaxation area.

In line with the latest interior design trends, Rufus stands out for its generous volumes, carefully balanced by contemporary geometries and welcoming shapes. The imposing structure, which at its base seems to touch the floor, dialogues with the special attention given to the comfort experience. The wide and deep polyurethane foam seat, the 36 cm wide armrests and the removable back cushions contribute to a feeling of comfort and hospitality without compromising aesthetic appeal. Finished on all sides, Rufus can indeed become a perfect centre-of-room sofa and can be used as a partition element in refined residential or professional environments.

A designer modular sofa, Rufus integrates a bed with a 10 cm thick, 200 cm long mattress available in a small double, French double or standard double size. The transformation takes place through a seat-pull-out opening system, after removing the cushions. Safe and easy to use, the patented Lampolet mechanism guarantees strength, durability and reliability over time.
